The Important Details!
We know a destination wedding is a pain in the arse but don’t worry we’re here to help you out! On this page you will find all the details of how to get to the venue as well as information about things to do in Cadiz and the surrounding area to make the trip as pleasant as possible for you. This page will be regularly updated so do be sure to check back.
LOCATION
The wedding is being held at Parador de Cadiz in Spain. You can find information about the hotel on their website here https://paradores.es/es/parador-de-cadiz
GETTING THERE
There are two airports you can fly to: Seville and Malaga. Both have frequent flights from London but transport from Seville to Cadiz is quicker and easier than from Malaga. The quickest routes between London and Seville are with British Airways, EasyJet and Ryanair from Gatwick and Stansted airports.
From Seville there are frequest trains from the Santa Justa railway station to Cadiz. You can search train times on Renfes website https://www.renfe.com/es/en and should be able to easily buy tickets at the station on the day of travel.
When we visit Cadiz we tend to drive from Seville. There are several good hire car companies in the airport terminal just after baggage reclaim and the journey from the airport to Parador takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
For those who don’t want to take the train or to drive the best option would be to organise an airport transfer with your hotel ahead of time.
Accommodation
For the wedding staying at Parador will be the highest level of convenience for you, however Cadiz has many hotels and bnbs. You can search for accommodation on Trip Advisor or Air BnB.
